Alexander Lacazette has admitted he would not turn down Arsenal like Jamie Vardy if a transfer offer was submitted.
The Leicester City striker rejected a move to the Emirates stadium in June, prompting the Gunners to make a move for other options including new Juventus signing Gonzalo Higuain.
Lacazette remains Arsene Wenger’s notable remaining option in the transfer market with only two weeks left in the summer transfer window.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has made it clear on several occasions that negotiations with the Gunners over the purchase of the 25-year-old will not be easy.
However, the striker himself insists he would not mind staying in France even though a move to London would be too good to decline.
“If offers come in that one cannot refuse, I don’t want to refuse them. If not, I am happy at Lyon.” Lacazette told CANAL+
The Frenchman was speaking to the media after scoring a hat-trick in Lyon’s win over Nancy on Sunday.
