Arsene Wenger has revealed that Krystian Bielik could be farmed out by Arsenal later this year.
The 18-year-old Polish midfielder is seen as a possible central defensive option by Wenger who is expected to keep him around the first-team squad for the first half of the new season.
However, if Bielik does not appear prepared for senior football, Wenger admits a loan spell is a distinct possibility.
“What I try to achieve this season with him is to work on his positional play and give him some games,” Wenger said in his pre-match press conference ahead of Monday’s pre-season clash with Chivas de Guadalajara.
“If in December he’s not ready, I will try to get him to play somewhere (on loan).”
