The reports claim, Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Miguel Almiron of Lanus in Argentina and a deal could be announced before the end of the transfer window on Wednesday.
TuttoMercatoWeb report Arsenal are believed to have paid £11.1 million but he will be shipped out on loan to get more first team experience as he currently lack the requirements to ply his trade I England.
And now journalist Ruben Dario Da Rosa, who works for Paraguayan TV network Telefuturo claims a move is drawing closer to completion.
He tweeted: “Miguel Almiron is very near the Arsenal of England. €9.4m (£8m) [deal].”
Almiron featured in 17 games for the Lanus last term and Arsenal’s move will certainly come as a surprise to many fans including me who always criticize Wenger for not buying players.
