Arsene Wenger to Announce £3.2m Deal in the coming Week

New reports are suggesting that Arsenal are hopeful of announcing an agreement to sign a promising defender very soon.

With Laurent Koscielny set to miss the start of the new season due to Euro 2016 participation while the futures of Kieran Gibbs and Mathieu Debuchy remain uncertain, Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out the idea of recruiting new defensive options.
According to the Sun, Arsenal have continued negotiations with Bolton Wanderers over the possible signing of Rob Holding by the end of next week.

A £750,00 offer from the Gunners for the youngster was rejected two months ago, but a new agreement in the region of $3.3 million (£2.5 million) is now being discussed by both parties.
The 20-year-old, who was voted Bolton Wanderers’ Player of the Season last term, featured for the England Under-21 team in the Toulon Tournament back in May.

Holding only has 12 months remaining on his current contract at the Reebok stadium after refusing to extend his deal with the Trotters during the winter.`
The potential signing of the young defender could see Calum Chambers sent out on a loan for the 2016/17 campaign.
