According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal are willing to offer Roma defender Kostas Manolas €4 million-a-year, around £3.3 million, to move to the Emirates.

The Gunners are expected to be busy this summer as they look to bounce back from what has been deemed a disappointing season last year.
They have already made one big signing, with midfielder Granit Xhaka moving from Borussia Monchengladbach.

A top level striker is thought to be a priority signing also, especially after Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott struggled for consistency last season.

They may look to add elsewhere though, with some believing that they need to find a partner for Laurent Koscielny in the heart of their defence.
One name that has been mentioned in the past is Kostas Manolas, and Gazzetta dello Sport report that they are willing to offer him a big wage increase to lure him to the Emirates.

According to the Italians newspaper the Gunners are willing to increase his pay packet from €1.5 million-a-year to €4 million-a-year (£3.3m), around £70,000-per-week.
The article fails to name an asking price for his services, although a report fromGianluca di Marzio claimed Roma want as much as £30 million for the centre-back.
