Arsenal are desperately in need of a striker and have been linked with an array of stars after missing out in Leicester City’s striker Jamie Vardy despite triggering his 20 million pounds release clause.
According to reports in Italy Calcio Mercato claims Arsenal target agent Wanda Nara has flown to London and she is expected to meet with executives from Arsenal to discus Mauro Icardi’s future.
Arsenal have already signed Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka and have announced a deal for Japanese striker Takuma Asano.
But Arsene Wenger is not yet done as he is keen on signing a striker this summer to help give support upfront for Oliver Giroud as Danny Welbeck will be out for major half of the season due to a knee injury he sustained late last season according to reports.
Icardi has been prolific for Inter in the last two seasons
His contract at the San Siro doesn’t run out until 2019 and Inter chiefs have been keen to try and sign the hotshot to a new deal.
