Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer gives Update on Mauro Icardi

Having been linked with Mauro Icardi all summer with heavy speculations suggesting the Argentinian is on his way to Arsenal, Medicals schedule, Agent spotted in London, He has agreed to personal terms, blah blah blah, and it now seems to appear that the new Inter boss Frank de Boer has dashed off our hope of signing Icardi this summer.

A report from an English media news outlet read, “New Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer has crushed Arsenal’s hopes of signing Mauro Icardi following his arrival at the club.”
It is suggested from the report that the Dutchman – the Nerrazzuri new boss – aims is to keep Icardi at San Siro this summer as the club main forward as they Italian giants are looking forward to end rival’s Juventus dominance in the Serie A league.

We’ve been linked with the 23-year-old Argentine this summer and it was believed according to report from various media that he is on our shortlist of options.
However, the manager is has said it all, he is adamant that the forward will stay put at the club this summer as he will be leading the San Siro side next season. As quoted by the Metro he said,
‘Icardi will remain.
‘Mauro is young, can still learn and we will work very well together.’
While the report may be seen as a huge blow for us and as a done and dusted deal for some, De Boer is excited for the challenge ahead and he is confident of Inter being able to challenge at the top of Italy’s major league.
He also went on saying, ‘I spoke with the owners and everyone wants to bring the club where it deserves to be,’
